Mr. Lewis has represented international software, technology, finance, clean energy, logistics, beverage, private equity, construction, and biotechnology companies in all aspects of their business, including inception, distribution, labor, mergers, and closure. Based in San Francisco area, he is enthusiastic in serving our community’s individuals and businesses with creative, tailor-made, tax-efficient solutions for their business and estate planning needs. His greatest successes are negotiating deals, devising the legal foundation of businesses, and drafting legal documents that will hopefully never need to be litigated.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Lewis was an accomplished scientist working at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center in the Synchrotron Radiation Light source in small-angle biological x-ray scattering. He wrote a data acquisition and analysis software package in C++ for a CCD. And he was certified in General Employee Radiation Training guiding scientists from around the world through its use. He designed high energy research components and worked with his machinist to fabricate them.
